Marking its 45th anniversary in 2024, our company has changed its name to miratap as of October 1, 2024, to better represent our determination to constantly embrace challenges in the global market, based on our philosophy. sanwacompany was established in 1979 as an importer and distributor of building materials. In 2000, the company pivoted to online sales and has continued to strive for market transparency and price fairness. To promote our “One Price” business model to be the norm more than ever, our company itself must become more visible and well known. There are many names similar to our long-standing name, sanwacompany. This makes it impossible to obtain trademarks overseas, and a long name is also not easy to recognize. Therefore, after much preparation, we settled on a new company name that is simpler, impactful, and versatile. The new company name, miratap, is derived from “tap the future (“mirai” in Japanese).” Delivering all kinds of spatial design-related goods and services with just the tap of a fingertip. Bringing joy and aesthetic pleasure to the lives of people around the world. This keen desire of ours is encapsulated in this unique name. Even after the change from sanwacompany to miratap, our vision to “be the most needed corporate group for lifestyles around the world” will definitely remain the same. With this globally compatible name, we will continue our endeavor to change the world. Under the new name, we will continue to contribute to a better life for people and strive for the realization of our philosophy.

Since the industry generally has many distribution processes, the general price is set high with a complicated margin structure which is difficult for customers to confirm the exact prices. Our goal is to provide our overseas customers with transparent and affordable pricing based on our domestic prices, along with overseas transportation cost and proper margin for the distributors.
